The Department of Statistics organised its first Alumna Talk Session on 26th September, 2019. The Talk Session was conducted by Ms. Akanksha Sinha, a B.Sc Statistics (Hons) graduate of LSR, Class of 2014.The agenda of the talk was mainly to familiarise the students to the various fields that they can choose to pursue after graduation, and how exactly to go about it.She also gave an overview of the vast opportunities that can be explored by students after graduation, such as the corporate world of data science and analytics, actuarial science, and Indian Statistical Services.
