The Statistics Department visited the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Delhi. A two-hour session was conducted by a member of the business development team of NSE. We were introduced to the basic terminologies of the stock market and the evolution of the stock market. We were made aware of the different and prestigious courses that the NSE Academy offers and also given an opportunity to join the winter attachment programme that the academy is going to organise. It was a very informative session and we benefited greatly from it.
