The statistics department held an R-Programming workshop which was spread over three sessions. It was a huge success and we were enthralled to see the overwhelming footfall from the various departments of the institution. The objective of the workshop was to equip the students with the basics of R language and the opportunities that come with it. It helped them enhance their computer skills and also touched upon the various future career opportunities. From the positive feedback that we had received, we can say that it was very instructive for all the participants.
