On 28th March, LSR students were given the opportunity to attend a talk by an Associate Professor of the Indian Statistical Institute, Dr. S. M. Bendre. The talk was centred around ‘Application of Statistics in Analytics’. Dr. Bendre covered a wide spectrum of topics like importance of analysing data, attrition analysis, courses in data science and so on. She also discussed her own project on Natural Language Processing. It was a highly informative session and proved to be a good learning experience
